At this point it’s fair to say that my favorite place to be in the US is Southern California. Despite all of the challenges facing the state, nobody else has the Pacific Ocean and all of the beautiful scenery it provides. This marks the second birthday that I’ve spent here, helped in part by the fact that I have friends in the area.
This trip was a last minute one and I didn’t have any plans but to relax. If I go on vacation and every second of everyday is schedule with stuff, that feels to much like work for me.
It was a successful trip – despite Hurricane Hilary and 5.5 magnitude earthquake that I didn’t feel. Here are some photos of the places I spent time.
